Unique New Years Party Favors

Believe it or not, and I fall in the "not" category, 2009 and the start of a new year is right around the corner. If you are planning a New Years bash or attending one and need a unique favor, consider personalized fortune cookies.

new-year

Personalized fortune cookies can make a great New Years party favor for quite a few reasons.

1. They're Economical - $38.00 for 100 vanilla fortune cookies, or $45.00 for 100 of a flavored, colored fortune cookies. That's plenty to spread around the New Years cheer.

2. They're Personalized - Included in the price, you can put 5 of your very own messages inside. What might you want to express with your New Years party favors?
• Share a toast to the new year
• Express your hopes for the year to come
• Thank your friends & party goers for all they add to your life
• Share your New Years resolutions
• Pass on a wish for the New Year to hold Joy, Peace, Love and Hope
• Recap funny things from 2008 (Shoe throwing anyone???)
• Write messages that tie in the party's theme
• Have fun playing off the word "fortune". As in "May the new year bring you health, happiness and good fortune!"

3. They're Unique - Many people don't know that personalized fortune cookies exist. Let alone flavored fortune cookies that come in fun colors. You can even pick the flavor or color that match the party colors.

4. Spark Conversation - Sometimes it can be tough to guests talking to one another. Especially when you are getting friends and family together from several different social circles. So handing out a personalized fortune cookie as guests walk in the door, can be a great icebreaker and conversation starter.

5. Totally Eatable - Everyone loves to eat and snack! What more do I need to say?

If your New Years event is a little more elegant or high end, then you might want to consider chocolate dipped fortune cookies. They taste incredible and have that elegant touch you are looking for.

Still need ideas for New Years fortunes, then the following may help. Many even work for New Years toasts.
